The Provincial Council approves the final list of 13 administrative positions

The Provincial Council of Lugo has approved the final list of admitted and excluded persons and the composition of the tribunal for entry as a career civil servant in thirteen (13) positions of the general quota and one (1) of the reserve quota for persons with disabilities, designated as administrative assistant, general administration scale, administrative subscale, group C, subgroup C1. The decision, adopted by presidential resolutions dated August 17 and 27, 2026, was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo no. 201, of September 3, 2026, under reference R. 2341.

The selection process, by the system of competitive examination and open access, corresponds to the Public Employment Offer of the year 2023. The provisional list had been approved by presidential resolution on July 7, 2026, and published in BOP no. 159, of July 14, 2026, as well as on the notice board and the entity’s website.

Changes regarding the provisional list

During the appeals process, Emilio Eiriz Rodríguez requested the modification of his assignment, moving from the general quota to the reserve quota for persons with disabilities; after verifying the documentation provided, the presidency admitted the appeal upon confirming that he meets all the requirements.

Furthermore, Leticia Rodríguez Díaz, appointed as substitute secretary of the qualifying tribunal, submitted a request for abstention under article 23.2 of Law 40/2015, of October 30, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector. Having appreciated the existence of the alleged cause, the abstention was granted and José Ferreiro Fernández, treasurer of the Council of Lugo, was appointed as substitute secretary in replacement of the former.

Admitted and excluded persons

The final list includes a total of 217 admitted persons, distributed as follows:

• General quota: 210 admitted persons.
• Reserve quota for persons with disabilities: 7 admitted persons.

In the general quota, two exclusions were recorded:

• Fernández Fernández, Elena — failed to provide a certified copy of the DNI.
• Vázquez Prado, María Lucía — application submitted after the deadline (12.17.2025).

Appeals and deadlines

Against the final list, applicants may optionally file a request for reversal before the president within one month from the day following the publication of this resolution in the BOP, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Lugo within two months. Interested parties may present any allegations they deem appropriate for consideration in the resolution that ends the procedure, in accordance with article 112.1 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure.

The resolution, signed in Lugo on August 28, 2026, by the general secretary, José Antonio Mourelle Cillero, was ordered to be published in the BOP, on the Deputación’s corporate website in the Public Employment (HR) section, and on the entity’s notice board.

The publication of this definitive list closes the admission phase of a process that directly affects hundreds of candidates and will be key for the coverage of administrative personnel for the Provincial Deputación of Lugo, in a call that seeks to reinforce the general administration structure of the provincial institution.
