The Provincial Council approves the final list for the environmental technician process

The Provincial Council of Pontevedra has approved the final list of candidates admitted and excluded from the selection process convened to fill one position as environmental technical officer, framed within the special administration scale, technical sub-scale, professional class, and integrated into group B, in an internal promotion round. The resolution, signed by the deputy delegate for Personnel matters by virtue of the powers delegated by the Presidency, was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) number 176, on Monday, September 14, 2026, under file 2026035035.

The process, identified by the code CPI2026M, began with the publication of the provisional list in BOPPO number 155, on August 14, 2026. The final resolution is made known in accordance with the provisions of the eleventh base of the call and article 20 of Royal Decree 364/95, of March 20, which regulates access to the public service.

Final list of candidates

The final list leaves a single person admitted and one excluded:

• Admitted: Ángela García Fontenla (NIF *7166).
• Excluded: Raquel Mosteiro Fernández (NIF *6893), for not providing or possessing the required qualification, not presenting a copy of the DNI, and not accrediting seniority as a career civil servant of the Provincial Council in the position indicated in the specific bases.

Persons definitively excluded are entitled to the refund of examination fees, according to the ninth base of the call, through the “Refund of undue payments” form available on the electronic office of the Provincial Council.

Qualifying Tribunal

The resolution designates the members of the qualifying tribunal, composed of technical personnel from the Provincial Council:

• Titular President: Concepción López Paz, head of the Environment service.
• Substitute President: Pilar Vela Fernández, head of the Areeiro Phytopathological Station service.
• Titular Secretary: Estefanía Pérez Calvo, technician in documentary management, HR, and Training.
• Substitute Secretary: Silvia Labraña González, head of the selection processes section.
• Titular Members: María José Lema Gesto, María Pilar Piñón Esteban, and Adela Abelleira Argibay.
• Substitute Members: Rosa Pérez Otero, Cristina Rial Martínez, and Pablo Rodríguez Alonso.

The members of the tribunal must abstain from intervening when any of the circumstances provided for in article 23 of Law 40/2015 occur, and candidates may challenge them in accordance with article 24 of the same regulation.

Key dates

The calendar of the process is fixed as follows:

• Constitution of the tribunal: October 6, 2026, at 10:00 hours, at the Pazo Provincial da Deputación (Avda. Montero Ríos s/n, Pontevedra).
• First exercise: October 14, 2026, at 13:00 hours, at the same location.

Applicants must present themselves for each exercise provided with their DNI or a reliable document proving their identity, as well as the material means necessary for its practice.

Against the resolution, which ends the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed within one month or an appeal before the Contentious-Administrative section of the Court of First Instance of Pontevedra within two months.

This call represents one more step in filling a key technical position for provincial environmental management, in an internal promotion process that allows the Deputación’s staff to progress in their professional career within the faculty scale.
