The Provincial Council awards the road safety improvement on the EP-7004 in A Estrada

The Deputación de Pontevedra has awarded the simplified open procedure convened for the contracting of the road safety improvement works on the provincial road EP-7004 Alto da Cruz-Santeles, in the municipality of A Estrada. The agreement was adopted unanimously by the provincial Xunta de Goberno in the ordinary session of October 16, 2026, and is published in the Boletín Oficial da Provincia de Pontevedra (BOPPO) no. 204, of October 22, 2026. The action is processed under file 2026010349 and appears as point 5 of the extracts of agreements of said collegiate body.

The publication is part of the extracts of agreements of the Xunta de Goberno of the Deputación de Pontevedra corresponding to the ordinary session of October 16, 2026, included in section I (Local, Provincial Administration) of the provincial bulletin. The session was presided over by Luís López Diéguez and was attended by deputies Rafael Domínguez Artime, Luisa Sánchez Méndez, Roberto José Álvarez Carrero, Juan Pablo Castillo Amigo, Jorge Cubela López, Ricardo Martínez Chantada, Manuel Alejandro Lorenzo Alonso, María Pilar Ramallo Vázquez, and Jesús Vázquez Almuíña, with acting secretary Gabriel Rodríguez Alonso and auditor Antonio Graña Gómez. All agreements of the session, including the award of this work, were adopted unanimously.

The award closes the processing of a works contract that the Deputación de Pontevedra tendered through a simplified open procedure, an abbreviated modality of contracting. The published text limits the operative part to declaring the award of the already convened procedure: the bulletin extract does not detail the award amount nor the identity of the contracting company, data which do not appear in the agreement sent to the BOPPO.

The two sections subject to the work

The agreement precisely delimits the kilometric points on which action will be taken on the provincial road EP-7004, in the municipal term of A Estrada. • First section: from P.K. 0+000 to P.K. 2+325, that is, 2.325 kilometers.
• Second section: from P.K. 3+700 to P.K. 5+500, that is, 1.8 kilometers.
• Territorial scope: municipality of A Estrada, in the surroundings of the parish of Santeles.
• Combined length of the two intervals: 4.125 kilometers over a layout of 5.5 kilometers.

The denomination of the contract places the action within the line of road safety works that the Deputación de Pontevedra has been executing in the provincial road network, focused on the correction of points and sections with risk to traffic.

A session with several road works

• File 2025053016: extrajudicial recognition of the final certification for the pedestrian mobility work on the EP-6107 Diz-Bidueiros-Amedo, in the municipality of Dozón.
• File 2025019176: extrajudicial recognition of certification number 8 for the pedestrian mobility work on the EP-9701 Baión-András, in the municipality of Vilanova de Arousa.
