Por FactBox Admin

The Provincial Council of Lugo has provisionally admitted 16 people for the four positions of provincial road repair laborer included in the 2023 and 2024 public employment offers. The presidential resolution of October 13, 2026, published in BOP no. 239 on Monday, October 19 (reference R. 2817), establishes the composition of the tribunal, the date of constitution, and the date of the first exercise. The process now opens ten business days for allegations against the provisional list.
A competitive examination call with four positions
The positions are designated as PROVINCIAL ROAD REPAIR LABORER, are framed within professional groupings, and are filled via competitive examination, general quota, and open access. The call and specific bases were approved by the Governing Board of the Council on March 13, 2026 (BOP no. 064, of March 20), in application of the general bases approved on March 12, 2021 (BOP no. 101, of May 6). The deadline for submitting applications ended on June 11, 2026.
The provisional list does not include any excluded persons: the 16 applicants who submitted their request on time appear as admitted.

Ten business days for allegations and appeals
Aspiring candidates have ten business days, counting from the day following the publication in the BOP, to submit objections against the provisional list. If none are submitted, the list will be considered final without the need for further publication.
An optional appeal for reversal may be filed against the final list before the presidency within a period of one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Lugo within two months. Challenges regarding the composition of the tribunal shall be governed by articles 23 and 24 of Law 40/2015.
The filling of these four laborer positions increases the staff assigned to the maintenance of the province’s road network, a service that depends directly on the Roads and Works Service and which has the repair staff as the first link in the conservation of provincial roads. For the 16 admitted candidates, the calendar is now closed: constitution of the tribunal on November 10 and the exam on the 19th, with a period of ten business days to correct or claim before the list becomes final.
