A Coruña: provisional list of seven management technician positions

The City Council of A Coruña has made public the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants in the selection process convened to fill seven positions for medium-level management technician, via open competition, in the general administration scale (subgroup A2), file C.E. 1/25. The resolution was adopted on August 17, 2026, by the delegated councilor responsible for Economy and Strategic Planning, by delegation of the Local Government Board, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña (BOP) number 178, dated September 17, 2026, under announcement number 2026/5972.

The announcement is part of the ordinary development of the call and limits its object to the provisional approval of the lists of admitted and excluded candidates, without a date for the exams having been set yet. The resolution is dated September 11, 2026, and is signed by José Manuel Lage Tuñas, delegated councilor responsible for Economy and Strategic Planning, representing the Local Government Board.

The list distinguishes four categories: ordinary quota of admitted candidates, ordinary quota of excluded candidates, disability quota of admitted candidates, and disability quota of excluded candidates. In total, the process registers 446 applicants, of whom 412 are admitted and 34 are excluded.

Causes for exclusion

The announcement details three reasons for exclusion, which correspond to the letters assigned to each person in the table:

• Cause a): failure to provide the specific application form for admission to selection tests (model 095) required in the rules, or submitting it incorrectly completed. Affects 28 applicants.
• Cause b): no record of payment of the fee required in the rules, failure to prove any cause for exemption, or inability to verify the exemption through other public administrations. Affects 5 applicants.
• Cause c): opting for the functional diversity quota without proving a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%. Affects 1 applicant.

Ten business day period to appeal

Excluded persons, as well as those who do not appear on the lists, have a period of 10 business days starting from the day following the publication of the resolution in the BOP to appeal or correct the defect that motivated the exclusion or omission. Anyone who does not correct the exclusion or allege the omission by justifying their right to be included will be definitively excluded from the selection process.

The amendment can be submitted through the procedure “Submission of documentation and/or allegations to a file,” preferably electronically, at the electronic office of the Concello da Coruña (https://sede.coruna.gal), indicating the registration entry number of the participation request in the description field. The list can also be consulted via the 010 municipal information telephone line (981.920.010 if calling from outside the city), in the BOP, and on the website www.coruna.gal.

Effects of provisional inclusion

The announcement specifies that inclusion in the lists of admitted candidates does not in any case imply recognition by the Administration that the person meets the requirements demanded in the rules of the call. The accreditation and verification of these requirements will take place for the candidates who pass the selection process, prior to their appointment as civil service personnel.

The publication opens the allegations process for a call for seven positions of subgroup A2 in the general administration scale of the Concello da Coruña, one of the categories with the most weight in the municipal structure. For the 446 registered people, the period of ten business days is the only way to correct formal or documentation errors before the list acquires a definitive character.
