Por FactBox Admin

The Galician Forestry Industry Agency has publicized the grants awarded in 2026 for investments in forestry technologies, processing, mobilization, and marketing of forestry products, with a total of 78 resolved files and amounts reaching 160,000.00 euros per project. The list appears in the Resolution of October 29, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) no. 213 on Friday, November 6, 2026, under the official reference CVE-DOG: 7omrlji3-72k9-lkx0-gpj0-ddft7tzwrh10. The subsidies are co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
Competitive bidding under the CAP plan
The call stems from the Resolution of December 30, 2025, which establishes the regulatory bases and calls in advance for expenditure for the 2026 financial year, under a competitive bidding regime, for grants under the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy of Spain 2023-2027. The procedure code is IN500A and its approval was carried out against the budget allocation 09.A4.741A.770.0, endowed with 11,017,036.00 euros.
The publication responds to the mandate of Article 15 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies in Galicia, and Article 17.1.b) of Law 1/2016, of January 18, on transparency and good governance, which require the publication of granted subsidies indicating the call, the program and the budget credit, the beneficiary, the amount granted, and the purpose. The resolution is signed by the director of the Agency, Alfredo Fernández Ríos, in Santiago de Compostela.
Four investment lines and 78 files
Annex I details the grants awarded, organized by lines of action:
- Line 1. Active forest management: 10 files, with equipment such as self-loaders, wheel loaders, trailers with cranes, felling equipment, and a stump removal team for biomass.
- Line 2. Wood and biomass: 50 files, mostly for tracked and wheeled forestry processors, self-loaders, processor and felling heads, mobile biomass chippers, and balers.
- Line 3. Chestnut and resin: a single file, IN500A-2026-0052, from María de los Ángeles Abuín Prieto, for an atomizer cannon and a dehulling implement.
- Line 4. Added value in the first transformation of wood: 17 files, including warehouses, aspiration, classification, and chipping lines, forklifts, fire protection systems, and transformation centers.
Amounts: 160,000 euros as the usual ceiling
The amount granted is usually capped at a maximum of 160,000.00 euros per file, although there are significantly smaller grants, such as the 2,515.50 euros for María de los Ángeles Abuín Prieto or the 14,188.00 euros for Maderas Manuel Núñez, S.L.U.. Among the investments with the highest subsidizable volume are those of Maderas D.E.R. Pumares, S.L. (630,642.60 euros), Maderas Pérez Giménez, S.L. (600,791.32 euros) and several wheel processors at 568,928.58 euros.
Some of the main beneficiaries are companies from the timber sector:
- Maderas Pérez Giménez, S.L., with a grant of 200,000.00 euros for a warehouse.
- Forestal Hosintra, S.L., also with 200,000.00 euros for a feeding line and a transformation center.
- Maderas Ojea, S.L. (112,205.56 euros), Maderas Cajaraville, S.L. (200,000.00 euros) and Hijos de Ramón Rubal, S.L. (140,000.00 euros).
- Servicios Integrales Mufer, S.L., Forestal Santome, S.L., Trafonor, S.L. and Maderas Antonio, S.L., with 144,475.28 euros each for forestry forwarders.
Five files appear in the annex as waivers: IN500A-2026-0058 (JSS Explotaciones Forestales, S.L.), IN500A-2026-0066 (Servicios Forestales Ilas Sociedad Limitada), IN500A-2026-0009 (Forestal Diego Otero, S.L.), IN500A-2026-0016 (Landmaschinen, S.L.) and IN500A-2026-0046 (Maderas Laracha, S.L.). In the case of Vista Jardín, S.L., part of the requested items is waived.
Four excluded applications and nine withdrawals
Annex II lists the applications not admitted for processing, four in total, indicating the reason:
- IN500A-2026-0017, Besteiro Forestal, S.C., due to incompatibility with a grant awarded under another call (additional provision 1).
- IN500A-2026-0043, Augusto Francisco García Rodríguez, due to non-subsidizable investment (article 4.1.l).
- IN500A-2026-0068, Maderas Eucatar, S.L., for failing to prove the economic viability of the investment (article 3.2).
- IN500A-2026-0082, Braña S. Coop. Limitada, due to non-subsidizable investment (article 3.3).
Annex III lists nine withdrawn applications: Maderas C. Lata, S.L. (IN500A-2026-0022), Serra de San Román, S.L. (0031), Mosquera Villavidal, S.L. (0034), Maderas Feijoo Lorenzo Sociedad Limitada (0035), Maderas Torguedo Sociedad Anónima (0044), Explotaciones Forestales Garafete, S.L. (0050), Excavaciones Goni, S.L. (0069), Maderas y Trabajos Forestales Cabo, S.L.U. (0076) and Forestal Gómez Martínez, S.L. (0091).
The publication provides transparency to a aid line that conditions investment in machinery and facilities for a highly fragmented sector, in which the renovation of processors, self-loaders, and transformation lines depends largely on these European funds. The list allows companies in the sector to know who applied successfully, with what equipment, and with what aid intensity, and places the committed public effort above eleven million euros in a single exercise.
